The Procurement Manager is a key role within our business, we require the modernisation of the existing processes and the development of a small team to deliver challenging, on-going targets for the existing business which is achieving significant growth and is forecasting substantially more growth over the next 5 years. A leader in the field of Automotive Aftermarket spares for both the UK and export markets and our customers demand the highest level of service and availability, which we must deliver within a lean supply chain. With a product range of more than 10 categories containing 20,000+ SKU’s it is essential that the successful candidate has experience of managing such a deep portfolio of products. We are looking for an experienced and professional Purchasing Manager who enjoys working in a fast-growing and dynamic environment. The role: * Ongoing performance management of all suppliers for service & quality. * Strategic review of suppliers to ensure best quality, cost & delivery in parallel with business security & continuity. * Take the lead on Procurement initiatives, ensuring the sourcing of high-quality products that meet stringent performance, functional, and commercial requirements. * Maintenance of data on ERP, including cost price matrix’s, part number creation and supplier contracts * Analyse data to identify areas of potential cost reduction and analyse the impact of cost changes within the business. * Responsible for product margin and yearly cost of sales budget. * Conduct necessary due diligence and qualification processes for new suppliers. The ideal Candidate: Results orientated person with a commercial mind set. Confident buyer with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building strong partnerships with factories and colleagues.
