Principal HPC Systems Engineer - F1 / Formula 1 - Linux, HPC, team leadership An exciting new opportunity for an experienced High Performance Computing (HPC) professional to join a high profile employer in the F1 industry. With increasing calls upon their supercomputing platforms and for an ever increasing range of purposes they are going through a redevelopment of the HPC infrastructure. This role will involve leading a small team of engineers who are contributing to the support of the existing platform as well as projects focused on its evolution. You will already have a solid background in Linux systems administration, specifically in a high performance computing (HPC) environment. You will also have skills spanning storage, scripting, schedulers and interconnects. Experience with DevOps monitoring/automation tools, containers and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure etc) would all be beneficial too. This role involves leading a small team of HPC Systems Engineers so previous experience of either formal team leadership or management, or mentoring the work of less experienced Engineers would be a significant bonus but this is not essential.
