Our client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for a Polisher to join their team. As a Polisher you would assist in ensuring final products and components have an excellent finish before supply to customers. Hours of work will be Rotating earlies and afternoons, rotating weekly (6am to 2pm Monday to Friday) and then 2pm to 12am (Monday to Thursday) Salary £26,000 to £28,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package. Reporting directly to the Department Leader , your key responsibilities will include: * Polish final products and components to a satisfactory standard in line with customer requirements * Loading of materials and components into forge machinery * Carry out visual checks on machined parts and ensure they are to a satisfactory standard To be successful in the role of a Polisher you will hold the following skills and experience; * Experience of working in a heavy manufacturing or an industrial production environment * Understanding of reading and interpreting instructions * Good communicator and a "can do" attitude" * An attention to detail and able to work meticulously This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
