PMO Analyst – Automotive, West Midlands £30,000 - £35,000 circa + Benefits PMO Analyst Key Responsibilities: Provide support to Engineers, Programme & Project managers in the administration of engineering projects Manage the tracking & forecasting of project cost to ensure that projects remain within budgetary limits Maintain project milestone plans to ensure that they are up to date & highlight any slippages in timescales Maintain project schedules & order book amendments adhering to company processes & procedures Creation of project metrics & status reports which form the basis of weekly / monthly management & customer meetings Attend monthly Governance meetings with and on behalf of the Project Manager Maintain project logs for risks, issues, decisions, and change control on behalf of Project Managers Maintain the lessons learnt log, help facilitate lessons learnt meetings & create lessons learnt report from meeting outputs Support production and management of all project documentation to Programme Office guidelines Give training & support in PMO / company Processes to new team members Provide support in the generation of proposals & quotes through to successful completion of the contract winning process Support Finance in purchase requisitions & invoices Establish Project processes & standards Other tasks as assigned by manage PMO Analyst requirements: Prince2 Practitioner or PMI qualification preferred A higher level qualification in a technical or business management subject would be beneficial Previous PMO Analyst experience, in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment Some experience in handling RFQs and supporting high quality quotations Familiar with the automotive industry with a basic understanding of the technical areas involved (Electrical/Electronics, Vehicle Integration, Body Engineering, Powertrain etc.) Background in engineering consultancy business desired Good knowledge of project life cycle and change management practices Sound commercial and financial awareness Excellent reporting skills - Excel skills, Powerpoint Presentations Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross functionally across the organisation Well organized and delivery focused
