Our client is a UK’s leading vehicle fleet management company located throughout the UK. And they are now recruiting for a Parts & Goods Specialist based at their Portbury site. The role will cover our new day shift and cover the 554 shift, essentially operates as follows: 5 days on 5 days off, 4 on 4 off, 5 on 4 off, 4 on 5 off, and then repeats itself. Essentially, The Parts & Goods In Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all cars processed by the Preparation Centre have parts that have been sourced in an efficient, cost effective manner, and that they are suitable for the job and administered correctly. What you'll be doing: * Responsible for all goods inwards parts, paint and consumables. * Receive goods into stores recording electronic data and administrating paperwork. * Monitor parts supply and expected arrival dates, record and report to line manager. * Liaising closely with the other internal teams and sites regarding vehicles requiring work agreed to ensure parts are available. * Ensuring all costs are recharged by generating timely invoices and documentation both internally and externally. * Reviewing all estimates from the inspection, sending for approval where necessary. * Preparing bodyshop & workshop job cards accurately and in a timely manner. * Ordering, maintaining and controlling the impressed stock levels to ensure all vehicles are dealt with efficiently. * Following the company ordering process for parts ensuring costs are within company agreements. * Achieving set targets both overall business targets and individual targets set by your line manager. * Attending as and when directed any one to one review meetings with your managers. * Ensuring work station areas are clean and tidy at all times. Required Skills & Experience: * Strong planning, organisation and administration skills. * Significant exposure working in a similar position. * Process driven. * Team player. * Ability to work fast and efficiently. * Excellent communication skills.
