We are looking for a Partner Relationship Manager to join our Private Jets Team based in our Gatwick office. Reporting directly to the Vice President Charter UK, you will ensure that relationships with suppliers deliver mutually beneficial, long-term rewards and a consistency of service for all Air Partner charters. This role will include operator and supplier visits and occasional aircraft viewings. This role offers a basic salary and a bonus for securing new business. What you will be doing: • Achieving targets and KPIs set for each financial year • Managing and developing existing and new projects, such as: - Volume Discount and Rebate schemes with Aircraft Operators - Creating of tangible SLAs with operators and suppliers, including FBOs and catering providers - Increasing the number of operators signing up to our unique JetCard terms - Analysing data to maximise usage and efficiency, taking into consideration regular routes / aircraft type patterns - Cross Selling other Air Partner Group services - Working alongside our U.S office to define and co-ordinate a Supplier Relations Strategy • Acting as a role model, demonstrating ‘best practice’ at all times • Working closely with the existing team and understanding all aspects of the Customer Journey • Maintaining contact and developing strong relationships with all suppliers • Ensuring all new contracts and agreements are entered correctly into our Dynamics 365 CRM system and updated on a regular basis • Representing Air Partner in a professional manner at all times • Reporting on activity and successes • Providing an after sales service and maintaining and filing relevant documents securely • Conforming to all company procedures as set down in the employment contract and the staff manual What we are looking for: You should be familiar with airline operations and the end-to-end charter process, as well as having a sound understanding of aircraft capabilities. Experience of on-board service capabilities and the various different touchpoints in the customer journey will also be necessary. It is essential that you have the ability to build strong relationships with key operators, suppliers and the broking team, in a very competitive market and be flexible to undertake occasional out of hours work to meet tight deadlines and complex negotiations. You will also have: • Previous experience of working for an aviation charter broker company or aircraft operator in a charter sales capacity (private jets experience is desirable) • An understanding of volume discount scheme contracts and legal obligations, particularly around compliance • An ability to write, implement, and manage Service Level Agreements • An ability to generate consistent GP for the company • A sound understanding of aviation planning and operating requirements • A good understanding of swiftly changing markets and operator priorities • A long term, partnership focused outlook, with good people skills, intuitive market understanding and the ability to form strong relationships with key stakeholders • Excellent communication skills at all levels • A competitive nature and sound commercial awareness • Excellent time management skills, ensuring rigorous contract and project deadlines are met • A well organised and resourceful approach • IT literacy with the ability to learn the functions of a new system quickly • Good numeracy skills and excellent attention to detail • An ability to maintain a sense of humour, especially in pressured situations • A valid UK driving license • A willingness and ability to travel globally occasionally
