Trigo UK are currently seeking a Part Time Quality Engineer for a European Tier 2 supplier based onsite at a Tier 1 in Solihull. The role will be working Wednesday, Thursday, Fridays every fortnight. Based on a full time salary of £35,000 per year (Pro Rota £9600 per year based on the hours quoted above). An experienced quality engineer with experience of working within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Resident Quality Engineer and / or Customer liaison Engineer. You will be working closely with the Tier 1 monitoring the quality of the incoming materials ensuring 100% quality. You will report back to the Tier 2 with regards to the quality of their incoming material and informing them of any concerns in relation to their products, You will possess excellent computer literacy skills to enable you to compile detailed reports (with photos if requred), communication skills as well as being able to work alone or within teams. You will have excellent problem solving skills as well as the ability to implement corrective actions. Engagement and liaison with the preferred onsite containment teams will also be required. This position would ideally suit a semi-retired engineer and / or candidates seeking part time work
