Job: Panel Beater Salary/OTE: £40,000 Plus monthly bonus. Area: Darlington Ascend Talent is seeking a Panel Beater to join an accident repair centre based in Darlington. As a Panel Beater you will be responsible for all Panel Repair, Replacement & Structural aspects of the vehicles entrusted with the ARC. In this position it requires knowledge & previous experience of the various systems & methods. Responsibilities: As a Panel Beater you will be responsible for; * Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair. All equipment used, including jigs, fixtures and welding equipment, will be operated as per the instructions, level of qualification and to the prescribed safety standards. * Adhere to the manufacturer’s literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and replacement of chassis and panel work. Where appropriate attend training courses to enable you to be updated on new techniques and produce development. * Handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is always maintained, keeping the Company’s tools and equipment safe and in a clean, workable condition. Experience/ Skill: * Proven experience as a Panel Beater or similar role in the automotive repair industry. * Strong knowledge of panel repair techniques, including welding, filling, and finishing. * Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment, including panel beating tools and spray painting equipment. * A minimum of 3 years experience in the role is preferred. Package: * Hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday * Competitive salary plus team bonus. * 30 days holiday including public holidays. * Loyalty days added to annual with service. * Pension contributions. * Recommend a friend technician bonus incentive.
