THE ROLE As a Vehicle Painter/Prepper, you will be responsible for: Running our spray booth Checking that the vehicle has been masked and prepared to the required standard Mixing and matching colours Polishing Checking the painted job is acceptable to refit Prep work You will carry out high volume repairs. THE PERSON You will have prior experience working in an automotive repair environment and will be a highly skilled technician who is consistent in producing high quality results. Examine vehicles to identify additional work for repair and complete in a timely manner Ability to identify different colour variants and match colours without assistance Able to work in a dynamic environment with compliance to Health & Safety at all times Valid UK driving license is essential Previous experience is essential Experience using modern water-based paints Ability to work efficiently, with high numbers of vehicles coming into the Bodyshop Must have own tools TO APPLY If you have the relevant experience click ‘Apply Now’ alternatively Amy Laidler is the point of contact for this position.
