Vacancy - Vehicle Technician - Uckfield Area

Our client are looking for a Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their family owned site. A community and family orientated employer, as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic you will be joining an already established team of Technicians / Mechanics in an easy-going environment

Who we are looking for:

• Someone who is an expert in diagnosing as well as repairing mechanical and electrical faults on various vehicle makes and models.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electronics.
• Proficiency in using equipment and software to identify and diagnose faults in order to perform accurate repairs.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Bonus points if:

• You have relevant certifications and qualifications
• You are an MOT tester

Salary:

• Up to £45,****** per year with overtime available at pay and a half
• No bonuses so you won't be chasing numbers - quality and pride in your work is always more valued than quantity.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00
• NO weekends, unless you want that overtime!
