Do you enjoy meeting new people, where no two days are the same? We're seeking a Mobile Service Engineer to cover the Birmingham / Midlands area for a leading innovative Automotive Company. Mobile Service Engineer - Responsibilities: Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using industry-standard diagnostic equipment and technical manuals. Communicate root cause failure details efficiently and accurately to both internal teams and customers. Manage warranty return parts, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies. Provide on-site technical support, resolving issues promptly to minimise vehicle downtime. Maintain company vehicles to high standards, ensuring they are in optimal condition for field service operations. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing daily queries related to vehicle faults and advising on optimal resolution approaches. Demonstrate technical proficiency and efficient problem-solving skills in all aspects of the role. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and enhance overall service quality. Mobile Service Engineer - Requirements: Relevant qualification in an automotive engineering or a related field (NVQ level 3 or City & Guild In Heavy Vehicle or PSV Engineering, IMI level 3) Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in heavy vehicles. Strong proficiency in using industry-standard diagnostic tools and technical manuals. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams and deal with all queries in a professional manner Ability to manage warranty return parts and follow company policies and procedures. Experience in providing on-site technical support and resolving issues in a timely manner.
