Please contact Callum for more information on (phone number removed) We are currently recruiting for an experienced mechanic / strip fitter / MET technician who can carry out all strip and refitting duties on mechanical components and trim, as well as service and repair of mechanical elements. The Job: MET Mechanic / Strip Fitter Repair Steering, suspension and brakes, diagnose, test, service, repair, replace, adjust and inspect steering suspension and brake systems and components. Remove & refit trims / interior components on vehicles Suspension, wheel alignment Minor MET duties Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre-damage condition Fault finding Dismantle and reassemble damaged vehicles in accordance with the prescribed repair method Ensure that stripping and rebuilding work of all vehicles is carried out in a professional and correct manner and that final quality checks are undertaken in line with applicable standards Ensure that all jobs are completed within the estimated times Check that all parts are ordered as per estimate, to ensure that the repair can be completed without delay, returning all unused parts to the parts department for credit Awareness & adherence to all necessary standards and H&S proceduresJob Experience Required: Strip Fitter /MET Technician / Mechanic City & Guild Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair (Not essential) Previous Bodyshop Strip Fit experience is essential Expertise as a car mechanic IND123If you would like to be considered for the MET Mechanic position, please call Callum at Clear Automotive on (phone number removed) or email your CV for an immediate interview.
