Job Description: Mechanical / Electrical Engineer Location: Hindhead Job type: Full Time Salary:£35,000 -£40,000 We are currently seeking an experienced engineer with mechanical and electrical backgrounds to join our team. The role primarily involves working on our range of lathes, mills, and drills. Technical Requirements: - Strong mechanical engineering background - Proficiency in electrical systems, including 240v and 440v, as well as electrical controls - Ability to wire up machinery, ensuring compliance with current electrical safety standards - Metalworking skills, including drilling, tapping, and fitting accessories onto machines - Utilize metalworking background to troubleshoot workshop issues, identify faults, and rectify them - Conduct testing and commissioning of new machines - Fabricate parts and perform general metalworking tasks - Experience with Quality Assurance systems and procedures would be advantageous - Provide technical support to the sales team and directly assist customers Requirements: - A positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills - Practical experience in a comparable role - Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work safely and independently - Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service - Possession of a clean UK driver's license Next steps: If this role sounds of interest or you are looking for advise on your next career move, please contact Will at Kemp Recruitment on (phone number removed) or apply with an up to date CV.
