Exciting opportunity to join a progressive and expanding engineering company manufacturing products used in the automotive industry. They are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their design team. Key duties: - undertake design and development of products from concept to operation - ensure products meet specifications, function, design and business performance requirements - carry out design, investigation and concept engineering works utilising Catia V5 ideal candidate will have: - BEng or BSc Mechanical Engineering discipline with proven experience in performing in a design and development role - previous proven experience of working in a small design engineering team - good knowledge and previous experience working with composite materials and manufacturing processes - strong Catia CAD skills plus analytical capability (analysis/calculation) Excellent benefits Potential to work hybrid - part home/part office.
