Each year we invite Students to complete their placement year with us in our Eco HQ in Surrey. We nickname these students our ‘Future Talent’ because they often go on to do great things, either here at TGB, on our Graduate scheme or in the wider working world.

We are proud to offer a 12 month placement as part of your undergraduate degree, giving you Industry experience in a global brand (but with family feel) organisation. We don’t have a business if we can’t tell our customers how great our products are. Whether we are talking to our customers (the way they love) through direct or digital platforms, we have experts that will give you fantastic exposure to the marketing mix. Our marketing roles offer opportunities for you to analyse our consumer data, ensure our customer and network incentives and offers promote commercial sales, right the way through to launching new products and website developments! Some of what you'll be doing: • Co-ordinate the updates and changes to toyota.co.uk and ensure that all content is published in line with brand guidelines and by agreed deadlines using online ticketing system Jira. 

• Regularly audit the website to ensure content is up-to-date across all areas of the site with support of the wider Digital Marketing team, internal stakeholders and agencies.
• Develop new content briefs for the agencies and ensure stakeholders approve content at key project milestones before go live. 
• Contribute to regular project status meetings with agencies and manage inputs/outputs as required.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be

• You’ll need to be completing a marketing or business focussed undergraduate degree which includes a year in industry.
• Excited by an opportunity to work with digital platforms
• Confident in communicating with a wide demographic of customers
• Positive outlook and problem solving mind-set.
• Really team focussed and able to build relationships
• Passionate about customers & obsessed with delivering a service the way that customers LOVE!
• Residing in the UK and either living within or willing to relocate to within a commutable distance of our ECO HQ

Skills required

Qualifications and experience you’ll need :  

Essential

• Keen interest in digital marketing and future tech trends. 
• Excellent communication skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desirable 

• Basic understanding of Google Analytics
• Previous experience of Content Management System
• Studying a related subject such as Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business management or IT.
