We are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team and play a pivotal role in their success. As a Manufacturing Engineer it will be your responsibility to take ownership for engineering NPI activities while liaising with the NPI coordinator and program managers in managing new products. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with external and internal customers for a number of areas ensuring compliance to any customer specific requirements. Validate proposed new transfer products from a process, tooling and documentation requirement using bespoke DFM methodology. Obtain supplier timing plans for tooling and equipment. Utilise 3D modelling and creative thinking whilst looking to reduce costs as much as possible for launch. Utilise constructive feedback to work continuously with a "First time right" mentality. Push continuous improvement incorporating six sigma methodology on all manufacturing methods and processes.Key Skills: Product engineering or NPI experience is highly desireable. Must have a hands on approach to NPI and engineering. Ability to provide support to relevant internal teams. Sbility to work under pressure and deliver results. Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Continual improvement mindset. Ability to lead change management initiatives. Growth and customer focused. Automotive industry experience is extremely desirable.
