This role will provide management, leadership, strategy and technical direction for the network and security teams. The role will play a key role in ensuring the security of the organisations' information and applications, developing, and delivering the cyber security strategy as well as other security and information risk management initiatives such as cloud security programmes, data classification and data retention. The Network and Security Manager will be allocated as the 'Security Lead' for a range of business and IT projects and programmes, ensuring the successful scoping and delivery of all security and networking workstreams within these projects. The ideal candidate should be able to define strategy, system requirements and architecture by working with infrastructure, network, database, application and other teams as applicable. Hands on experience in designing multi-site architecture and data centre solutions are preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.  Key requirements: Experience of IT and Information Security standards (Cyber Essentials, ISO27001, CoBiT, TOGAF, etc) Experience of implementing multiple security controls including but not limited to  * Privilege Access Management (PAM) * SIEM * Endpoint security * Firewalls * IDS/IPS  * Web and email filtering * Office 365 security * Data Loss Prevention Experience in developing, documenting and maintaining security policies, processes, procedures and standards Experience implementing Cyber governance and Security Strategies Enterprise security design Experience undertaking security audit assessments Microsoft Azure & Office 365 experience would be beneficial Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Experience in designing and maintaining medium size networks Experience with MPLS, WAN, LAN, BGP, Routing, Switching Experience with Wi-Fi implementations A thorough understanding of ITIL Experience managing teams and mentoring Preferred certifications CISSP, CISM CCNP, CCDP
