Role Summary We are seeking a skilled Chassis Launch Engineer to join our Engineering, Research, and Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing interim containment actions and planning resolutions to support build events. You will work closely with Chassis Engineers and Plant teams to ensure technical issues are identified, managed, and resolved efficiently. Key Responsibilities Represent the Chassis team at launch meetings in the plant. Lead and manage technical issue resolution with input from cross-functional teams. Ensure resolutions align with build event requirements and collaborate with BCE, Plant teams, and suppliers. Coordinate and plan testing, fitment trials, and other relevant activities. Monitor and address escalations, risks, and obstacles in advance. Collaborate with Engineers and suppliers on proto parts quality, cost, and delivery. Collect and present data for senior reviews and support Proto MP&L. Attend daily High Hurts reviews and provide necessary data. Ensure build quality and integrity meet program specifications. Support component engineers in resolving build-related issues. Record and present PROTOTYPE (NON-SALEABLE) deliverables to Senior Management. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and report performance. Work with manufacturing teams, site services, and contractors to design new equipment and facilities for builds. Manage build-related AIMS and ensure quick containment actions. Analyze FMS deck and drive closure of emerging issues. Qualifications and Experience Essential: Proven experience in product development or launch environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Familiarity with AIMS/WERS/Alerts/PFEP/RIS/ETS. Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of the Chassis domain and build activities. Preferred: CAD literacy and ability to visualize CAD data using associated tools. Understanding of project and plant delivery processes (e.g., PPAP, PSWs, Rework instructions). Key Competencies Customer Centricity: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
