Location: Basingstoke (flexible working available) Contract: Full Time/Permanent Salary: Competitive Package This is the job As the HRSS Manager you will be responsible for day-to-day leadership and management of all HR Transactional services provided by the HR Shared Services team, includes training, coaching and performance management of team members in the successful delivery of services. Working with internal HR stakeholders to provide effective delivery aligned to business needs to include updating documentation, user guides and training. The role requires an understanding of HR Operations and have relevant experience in the following areas: * HR Shared Services Environment * An understanding of HR policy, procedures, and practices * HR Compliance requirements * HR Systems What will I be doing? * Lead the effective and accurate delivery of all transactional processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring that they are fit for purpose, delivered with accuracy and within agreed timeframes to deliver excellent customer service * Be responsible and accountable for HR data integrity, security, quality and consistency to deliver accurate and reliable data * Train and motivate cross functional, customer centric HRSS Team members to ensure that they possess the necessary skills and competencies, are motivated to deliver excellent service and are given opportunity to develop to perform to the best of their capabilities. * Partner with and build strong relationship with stakeholders to provide expert advice * Manage external vendors and service providers in delivery of HR Services * Work collaboratively and in partnership with other managers and leadership teams in HR and Finance, to ensure that the transactional services are delivered in a connected way with the relevant professional services to give a seamless service to all customers * Work with key stakeholders and customers to continuously evaluate the HRSSC service, monitoring customer feedback and operational activity to improve the overall service and identify development needs * Provide support to Line Managers and Employees in order to resolve employee lifecycle administrative issues / queries, escalating to the relevant HR Business Partner or leader as appropriate. * Monitor all HR Shared Services processes with a customer outcome focus whilst ensuring they meet all legal and regulatory requirements in line with internal service level agreements. * Have a good understanding of current HR Systems and be part of the early involvement in new system implementations. Work with the HR System Manager to support UAT testing within Success Factors * Implement and effectively track SLA’s and key performance metrics that support continuous improvement of the service delivered utilising existing technologies and processes * Work with HRSS Continuous Improvement manager to identify opportunities to improve efficiency gains through automation and streamlining of process delivery What do I need? Capability, Knowledge and Experience: * Experience of managing and leading teams through periods of change, transformation and continuous improvement in a complex multi-site shared service centre environment * Passion for development of individuals and team growth * An understanding of Payroll activities and reward practices and the impact HRSS delivery can have in relation to pay and compensation * Understand the visa and immigration requirements the UK * Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately and compliantly * Expert knowledge of HR systems (SAP/Success Factors), policies, processes and procedures and how good operations management helps an organisation to realise its potential. * Strong external network to leverage good practice, obtain benchmarks in order to provide industry and functional insight * Experience of IR35 regulation requirements * Pro-active behaviour that demonstrates initiative and positive work ethic to ensure activities are delivered to the required time, budget and quality * Experience of implementing and effectively tracking SLA’s and key performance metrics * Able to work independently and on own initiative within specified guidelines or processes by utilising available resources and toolsets to investigate and resolve problems Education and Qualifications: * CIPD or equivalent qualification in Human Resources Management
