I am currently working with a commercial vehicle workshop in the Wigan area who are now looking to expand their team with the addition of a Hire Desk Administrator.

Hire Desk Administrator job role:

• Answer the incoming calls for the hire desk
• Dealing with new and existing customers enquiries relating to the hiring of fleet
• Liaising with customers to ensure vehicle delivery schedules are met, follow up communication to the customer relating to hire delivery.
• Ensuring vehicles are delivered & returned at the agreed time
• Preparing rental forms and associated administration
• Liaising with workshops daily
• Preparing reports as required.
• General rental administration and support
• Additional clerical duties related to the role as required, for example administration of the PCN, s, speeding fines, congestion charge etc.
• Update customers motor insurance & Operator's licence
• Process invoices and allocate PO numbers to outside suppliers
• Organise drivers' daily activity
• Send flyers promotions to a customer data base
• Generate new business through internet and other sources "cold calls"
• Geofence updates "fleet and rental tracking system"
• Organise MOT vehicle movements for compliance department
• Any activities regarding digital systems or future system upgrades
