Working hours Monday - Thursday 17.30pm - 05.30 am (46 hours per week) This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business who have been established for over 50 years. The main purpose of the role is to support the workshop supervisor in the day to maintenance and upkeep of incoming vehicles and fleet. Responsibilities * To carry out routine safety inspections, MOT preps, servicing, all repairs and defect rectification to any vehicle or trailer. * To accurately record all work completed and parts used with time taken, to enable such work to be recharged to the appropriate cost centre. * To accurately complete all maintenance and repair record sheets * To work in a professional, logical, and safe manner at all times. * To keep the work area safe, clean, and tidy. * Adopt a flexible working approach and be a team player at all times. * Training as and when required. Requirements and Qualifications: * Inspect, service, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles. * To accurately complete all required paperwork and documentation. * Adhere to strict maintenance schedules and meet given deadlines. * Be a fully skilled HGV technician, through a relevant recognised formal training programme. * Have a methodical and quality focus to problem solving. * Have strong attention to detail.
