My client is looking to recruit an experienced HGV technician for our Tilminstone, Dover workshop. If you are competent in the inspection and repair of heavy goods vehicles, take pride in your work and have a sense of urgency then we would like to hear from you. Immediate start available. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct pre MOT inspections and subsequent defect rectification. * Undertake periodic vehicle/equipment inspections, services and repairs * Diagnose and rectify vehicle defects * Attend breakdowns * Ensure compliance is maintained through tight document control * Responsible for making technical decisions and ordering parts. Key Skills and Qualifications * HGV Technician able to demonstrate relevant qualifications, training and experience. * Able to inspect to DVSA HGV standard with MOT preparation experience * To be motivated, willing to take the initiative and work independently when required. * IRTEC qualified or willing to undergo assessment
