We are looking for a qualified HGV Technician/ HGV Mechanic that has the skills and motivation to work with our client to maintain and keep their fleet of vehicles in a safe condition. The role is predominantly yard based with occasional site visits. The company is going through a well planned growth phase and can offer significant opportunities to progress your career. ROLE: * Carrying out the day to day servicing, MOT preparation and repairs to HGV, and light commercial vehicles. * You will be maintaining and keeping their own fleet of vehicles compliant on the roads as well as outside customers vehicles. * You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure their fleet vehicles are safe, compliant and repaired to the highest standards. * Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant accurately. * Competent and confident with the use of diagnostic equipment to fault find. CANDIDATE: * Previous experience as Mechanical Fitter or technician ideally with a Level 3 NVQ qualification or equivalent. * A HGV licence is desirable but not essential. * A Drive to grow and develop within the business. * A team player that has the ability to also work independently
