D33P Search are working with an exciting business based in Edinburgh, they operate within the Space Sector. You'll be working on the design of hardware for a number of satellite modules. This position is a a good blend between the design of Avionics and Robotics, they operate a Hybrid working model where you'll be in office 2-3 days per week. This arrangement can be quite flexible dependent on the individual. Skills needed: * Competence in digital and analog design. * Competence in layout with care towards manufacturability and assembly. * Appreciation for power supply design and layout. * Appreciation for EMC/EMI design practice. * Experience using ADC/DAC devices and data-acquisition principles. * Understanding of component selection & qualification. * Experience with sensors, actuators and how to use them in analogue circuits. * Gathering of evidence to support acceptance, fault-analysis, legislative requirements, and safety. * Strong interpersonal skills Desirable: * Familiarity with Aerospace designs * Familiarity with Altium Designer or Siemens PADS • Experience with SOLIDWORKS. * Experience with qualification processes for flight-hardware * Knowledge of high-speed data and/or RF layout techniques * A technical or engineering-based degree and 3+ years of industry experience in electronics development projects. * Understanding of source management systems e.g. Git, SVN This position does not offer any sponsorhsip.
