About the Role Group Internal Audit is an independent and objective assurance and consulting function designed to add value and improve Redde Northgate Group's operations. It assists the Group in accomplishing its objectives by applying a risk-based, systematic, and disciplined approach, to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the governance, risk management, and internal control systems. The primary role of Group Internal Audit (GIA) is to help the Board and Executive Management to protect the assets, reputation, and sustainability of the Group. What you have to do This role is required to help the Group IA team to · Develop and foster enduring business relationships · Develop and deliver the Internal Audit program · Identify and monitor control improvements and follow up IA actions · Facilitate completion and improvement of regular risk registers · Provide control and risk advice · Deputise for the Head of GIA · Work to continuously improve the methods and operation of Group Internal Audit (GIA) · Work as part of a team and support self-development and the development of others To be successful in this role you need To focus on and be committed to achieving results that are critical to the success of your own role and the business. The Skills and Qualifications to carry out this role · Professional accountancy qualification with a numerate and analytical mindset · Having CIA or CMIIA, CISA or ISACA, or IRM or similar risk management qualification would be desirable · Strong communication and presentation skills · Good level of ICT skill - familiar with Microsoft Office · Experience in conducting audits across multi-function business organisations · Experience in a customer-focused organisation · Able to travel within UK, Spain, and Ireland with overnight stays · Must hold a full UK driving license What's in it for you?
