Job Title: Junior/Graduate Software Engineer                    Location: Oxford Pay Range/details: up to circa £35,000 (negotiable DOE) Contract Type: Permanent If you are currently a Computer Science Graduate or Software Engineering Graduate, or Graduate Software Engineer with a year or two experience and looking to move into a role with a successful, progressive semiconductor company, then this could be the role for you. You’ll be employed at HQ near Oxford, with the opportunity for hybrid working and flexible working hours are available. You will be gaining experience as part of the software engineering team, collaborating on high-quality, leading-edge software which is used to operate state of the arm metrology systems. This role will suit a candidate who is ambitious and possesses the desire and drive to develop their software engineering skills with a renowned company. Key Responsibilities – Junior or Graduate Software Engineer Develop high quality software to deliver required functionality. Produce design documentation to support the code being developed. Work closely with the SQA team to deliver software with a customer focus. Collaborate effectively as part of an integrated software team whilst also being able to work independently. Communicate effectively across a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists. Qualifications & Requirements – Junior or Graduate Software Engineer Degree educated in a relevant STEM subject or relevant industrial experience. Interest in hands-on Software engineering development. Some knowledge/experience of writing code in a structures Software language, ideally C#, Python or LabVIEW. Some Knowledge of Software development techniques. Approach issues in a systematic way. Self-driven and motivated worker. Good communicator – High level written and oral technical English.
