A large and well known Tier 1 supplier of powertrain solutions in London have an immediate requirement for a Graduate Systems Engineer to join their electrical team developing innovative solutions to powertrain control for the commercial market. This company is both an industry leader and well established across the globe, with numerous high-profile clients and a constant drive for success. Working in a dynamic and stimulating environment, the successful candidate will assist in the development of real-time systems within the Electric Control Systems, controlling fuel injection equipment and other integrated engine and vehicle electronic systems. The main duties of the successful Graduate Systems Engineer would be: - Assisting in development of validation testing, - Support the designing of systems diagnostics and CAN communications specifications - Capturing and analysing customer requirements - Working with Matlab and Simulink to design control algorithms and strategies - Calibration work across sensor interfaces, servo controls and diagnostic strategies The successful Graduate Systems Engineer will need to have: - Education to HND or degree level in an engineering discipline - Understanding of Matlab-Simulink blocks - Knowledge of CCP calibration tools (i.e. INCA, ATI Vision, CANape) Additional advantageous experience for the Graduate Systems Engineer: - Understanding of Powertrain sensors and actuators (analogue, digital, H-Bridge, CAN based, SENT) - Understanding of CAN, UDS, and J1939 protocols - Understanding of C code, ASCII, and Hexadecimal, - CAN tools such as CANAlyzer - IBM ClearCase or similar configuration management tool This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Systems Engineer to progress their career.
