Graduate Project Engineer Bradford We are actively seeking a dynamic and motivated Graduate Project Engineer to join our clients team within the oil and gas industry. As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will be involved in essential project management and engineering support activities, contributing to offshore crane repairs, refurbishment, operation, and maintenance. Benefits Salary circa £25k-£28k Dependant on experience 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays 4% contributory pension (after probation period) Bonuses, paid out every 6 months, dependant on profit and KPI's Duties and Responsibilities: Provide crucial engineering support for offshore crane repairs, refurbishment, operation, and maintenance. Contribute to project management activities, overseeing technical and commercial aspects. Assist in the delivery of engineering support for mechanical equipment, including spare parts sourcing, refurbishment plans, and equipment hire activities. Participate in engineering design related to offshore crane and lifting projects. Collaborate on lifting studies for clients both onshore and offshore. Prepare work-packs detailing complete offshore/on-site work activities. Undertake offshore and onshore surveys and project work scopes. Support the generation of tenders, offers, design, and engineering within the given discipline. Familiarization with client’s and company HSEQ policies and procedures. Identify safe and environmentally sound methods of work and systems. Adhere to relevant legislation, codes of practice, guidance notes, and industry best practices. Experience required: Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Consideration given to HND/HNC candidates Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and manuals. Knowledge of CAD, 3D Modelling, and analysis software. Strong managerial and organisational skills. Capable of working independently. Methodical and dynamic approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills. Preference for onshore or offshore crane and lifting experience. Understanding of HSEQ requirements offshore.
