Job Title: Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Tewkesbury Salary: £25,000-£32,000 Contract: Permanent Job Overview – Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer My client is a leading manufacturer of bespoke equipment operating in the aerospace, automotive and medical industries. They are looking for a highly motivated Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in their facility based just outside of the Tewkesbury area. Key Responsibilities – Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer Designing and developing mechanical engineering solutions to deliver new and existing programs. Contributing to the manufacturing operations through fault diagnosis and developing necessary solutions. Gaining familiarity and becoming proficient with mechanical design and simulation tools. Developing proficiency in the application of mathematical principles to real-world problems. Giving advice on the best mechanical solutions, considering budgetary and time constraints, while delivering optimum performance and reliability. Key Experience – Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer To have or be on track to receive a minimum of a 2:1 degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field. Knowledge/Experience in mechanical design principles. Knowledge/Experience of engineering calculations. Experience in design and manufacturing would be advantageous.
