As a Graduate Systems Analyst, you will be joining an innovative team of analysts within the systems engineering team to develop the next generation of the company's acoustic products. The role requires you to have the ability to define and achieve goals through working as part of a team with the flexibility to cross boundaries if required. Good verbal and written communication skills are required in order to provide clear, concise and structured technical documents. You will work your line manager and mentor to create a roadmap of the functions in which you wish to gain experience. Graduate Systems Analyst responsibilities: * Delivering allocated tasks and meet objectives as agreed with line manager, placement supervisor and mentor. * Performing modelling, design or implementation activities with the supervision and mentoring of senior staff. * Learning the use of tools and equipment of the allocated functional discipline. * Learning how to estimate allocated tasks and adhere to agreed estimates/timescales by participating in the definition of Work Packages and their incorporation into project delivery. * Providing regular and clear technical progress reports to project management, mentor, project supervisor and functional line manager. * Adhering to the company’s engineering processes and procedures. * Acting as a team player who recognises the impact of his/her performance and behaviour in the wider team. * Developing an awareness of the role of other functions of the business * Working with the customer and internal teams to elicit and derive requirements. * Define and model algorithms applied to the company’s solution * Acoustic transducer modelling, design and prototyping activities. * Developing the high-level system architecture for a project. * Planning and undertaking verification and validation activities To be considered for this opportunity as a Graduate Systems Analyst you MUST have: * Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Physics or Mathematics (2:1 or Higher) * Demonstrate good interpersonal skills * Self-motivated and ability to plan own work load effectively * Interest in Sonar Systems * Master’s or PhD in Similar subject is desirable For the role of Graduate Systems Analyst, you will receive up to £28,000 with a generous package and flexible working hours.
