We are seeking a number of Firmware Engineers to join their team on a permanent or contract basis.  You will work on a hybrid working pattern with the head office based in the Bedfordshire area, where site presence is required 3 days per week. Key responsibilities include: Working closely with hardware and software teams for integrating firmware into a variety of products. Derivation of detailed Firmware requirements and architecture from system requirements FPGA development including VHDL design, verification and integration. The Person The Firmware Engineer will specialise in the delivery of robust coding that integrates into systems as part of defence products that include land, air and naval platforms. You will be self-starter with the ability to utilise your experience and knowledge within software development to produce safety critical, low level code where precision and security is imperative. Experience Required for the Firmware Engineer role: Degree in Computer Science or similar. Experience in development of low level software ideally in a security cleared environment. Experience in FPGA architecture e.g. Xilinx.
