Field Service Supervisor

To coordinate the in field associated issues and bring to successful conclusion, carryout on site overview and liaising with FSE’s. Key metrics of lost mileage, VOR’s and campaign completion rate are measurable activities the role will enhance. Essential: • Experienced in Microsoft word and excel • Previous experience in a similar role • Ability to work on own initiative • Excellent organisational skills • Ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly • Good communication skills – able to liaise with colleagues at all levels and customers • Ability to implement processes and recommend new ideas • Fork lift trained • Full UK driving licence • Knowledge of health and safety practices Accountabilities: • To work remotely from the London service centre. • Attend customer sites in and around London. • To provide direct management of onsite activities. • To monitor and manage running repairs, campaigns and field fixes as required. • Monitor and maintain parts supply. • Liaise with after sales engineering, to implement cost effective fixes in a timely manner. • Mentoring field staff as and when required. • To be a conduit between engineers, customers, and management • Engender a proactive and inclusive culture between FSE’s • To deliver customer centric, quality repairs within expected time scales • To provide guidance to FSE’s and contract staff • Attend site to mitigate and resolve crisis situations. • Track repeat defects and ensure effective resolution of failure points. • Reduce lost mileage. • To provide product familiarisation to customers • Identify training needs for field service engineers as required. • To audit work of FSE and any contractors and compile reports KPI’s • Reduce lost mileage • Improve vehicle availability • Reduce repeat defects • Campaign completion rate
