We are looking to recruit a FAIR Inspector to work for an international manufacturing company supplying components to the aerospace industry. The FAIR Inspector will provide Quality and Inspection support and to develop the Right First-Time philosophy required to become a leading supplier of components to the aerospace industry. If you have previous experience of FAIR inspection gained in an engineering/manufacturing environment, then we want to hear from you. Duties: Maintain quality control within the manufacturing process Inspection and verification of components produced at all stages First article inspection and non-conformance procedures Support and promote improvement activities within the manufacturing processes Complete FAIRS to AS9102 using Q-Pulse and Net-inspect Skills & Experience: An engineering background with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications Must have worked to ISO9001 and provided 1st Article Inspection Reports Technical knowledge within the aerospace sector preferred Experience in a quality control environment preferred Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision with excellent attention to detail CMM an advantageous but not essential Practical Problem-Solving skills Benefits Days: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:00, Friday 07:30 to 12.30 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Death in service benefit of 2 x annual salary Company pension scheme Employee Assistance Programme
