Job type: Permanent

Category: Apprenticeship Apprenticeship

Do you want to become a part of the exciting world of aerospace and help to shape its future? Have you thought about working towards a BEng(Hons) Engineering degree that will set you on the path to becoming an Aerospace Engineer? Are you bright, hardworking and up for a challenge? If the answers are yes, yes and yes, then have you thought about becoming an Engineering Apprentice with Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group? This is a path that will not only get you a BEng(Hons) Aerospace Engineering degree but pay you while doing so and give you real-world, hands-on experience of working in an aerospace engineering environment. As an Engineering Apprentice you will be exposed to a range of knowledge, skills and behaviours to meet the Aerospace Engineer Standard, completing qualifications in: * Level 2 Diploma in Aerospace and Aviation * Level 4 Diploma in Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing * Level 6 Bachelor Honours Degree (BEng) delivered in conjunction with Lancaster University Not only will this demonstrate competency in the role but will complement wider business strategy and enable you to support your long-term career development. Our qualified Aerospace Engineers work primarily within specific engineering disciplines such as structural design, avionics, stress engineering, systems engineering and integration, support engineering, aircraft support and more; much more. They focus on all aspects related to the lifecycle of systems and products. Whilst doing so they of course comply with statutory regulations and organisational safety requirements. They must be able to use and interpret engineering data and documentation such as engineering drawings, reports and computer-generated models. They are expected to work both individually and as part of an Engineering team, often comprising several disparate engineering disciplines. They are expected to design, develop, specify, analyse, test, validate and modify designs and solutions to satisfy customer requirements and in-service operations. We will not pretend it’s an easy option - we will challenge you in every way. But, nothing worth having comes easy. If you think you’ve got what it takes then we would love you to hear from you. Expected start date for this Apprenticeship is September 2021
