Purpose of an Electrical Assembler Working across production areas regarding electrical requirements ensuring that production deadlines are met efficiently, safely and to appropriate quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Working across all aspects of , ensuring that deadlines are met * Manufacture of electrical harnesses, components, control modules * Experience with Loop Manufacturing and bonding cables * Test and inspection of electrical assemblies * Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring diagrams * Meeting set production targets * Ensure products are built to appropriate quality standards, right first time * Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times * Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area * Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how work flow could be improved * Escalate issues to line management as required * Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations. The successful job holder will be expected to perform varying tasks as required by their line manager & the overall objectives of the organisation. Key Performance Measures * Project performance * Engineering Metrics Knowledge, Education, and Skills Knowledge: * Experience in a production environment * Electrical experience (preferred 3 to 5 years in aerospace) * Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRP Education * Time served apprenticeship preferred electrical basis Skills and competencies * Ability to prioritise workload * Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management skills. * Strong communication and team working skills * High regard for Health and Safety * Gives and welcomes feedback and contributes to building a positive team spirit Other material requirements * Flexibility to work at other sites as required. * Willing to work hours necessary to ensure production goals are achieved.
