Andy File Associates Limited are working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards temporary - permanent position. Purpose of the role: As a member of the Dispatch Department you will play a critical role in ensuring that all vehicles, parts, and custom orders are accurately prepared, packaged, and dispatched on time. Your attention to detail and commitment to efficiency will help maintain to maintain their reputation for outstanding customer service. Reporting to : The Dispatch Manager Main responsibilities : Order Preparation: Accurately pick, pack, and label all vehicle parts, custom orders, and accessories for dispatch Ensure that all items are in perfect condition and match the customer’s order specifications Dispatch Coordination: Work closely with the Dispatch Manager to plan daily shipments, prioritizing urgent orders Schedule and coordinate with courier services to ensure timely deliveries Prepare shipping documents and labels, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations Inventory Management: Assist in regular stock checks and inventory management to maintain accurate records Report any discrepancies in stock levels to the Inventory Control team Quality Control: Perform final inspections on vehicles and parts before dispatch to ensure all work meets LV’s quality standards Flag any defects or issues immediately to the relevant department Customer Communication: Provide updates to the sales team regarding order status and potential delays Assist in handling customer inquiries related to dispatch, ensuring they are resolved promptly and professionally Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the dispatch area Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote a safe working environment Documentation: Accurately complete all required dispatch logs and reports Ensure all documentation is filed and stored in compliance with LV’s document control procedures Qualifications & Experience * Experience: Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role is preferred * Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy in order preparation and documentation * Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively * Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal * Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving parts * Tech Savvy: Familiarity with dispatch software and inventory management systems Skills & Attributes Team commitment Punctual and reliable Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM) Based : Rotherham S60 Benefits: A dynamic work environment with a focus on teamwork and innovation.
