VHR Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Development Engineer to join one of our exciting aircraft interior production clients. You will be joining a team of industry professionals to help their efforts within manufacturing/production by bringing forth innovative solutions using a dynamic and versatile range of engineering skills. Main Activities & Responsibilities To define, support and carry out development and qualification testing (structural, environmental, electrical and lifecycle testing) to customer / regulatory requirements. Creating 3D models using CAD, as well as 2D drawings inline with company standards. Experience using PTC CREO will be a huge advantage. Identifying problems within the manufacturing/production process and being able to delegate tasks as appropriate to the right colleagues. Essential Experience & Qualifications Level 2 / 3 City & Guilds Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. A strong attention to detail. A flexible approach towards work and being able to communicate at all levels throughout the business. Desirable Experience Knowledge of DO-160 and other standards relevant to the development of aerospace interior / exterior actuators. Knowledge of PTC CREO. Ideally you will have worked in a similar role within the engineering sector. Knowledge of the aerospace industry.
