Demand Generation Specialist Come join a team of enthusiastic marketing professionals, dedicated to driving demand for client products and services, by developing cutting-edge strategy and implementing best-practices across 19 European markets. Position Responsibilities Deliver specific efficiency and effectiveness objectives across Demand Creation workstreams as required. 1. Market Coordination/ Market Support Meetings Assist the Biddable & Online Retail Marketing Manager with best practise implementation and coordination across the EU19 markets. Support the monthly Demand Creation market meetings, agenda and content planning and preparation, chasing up for presentations from the wider team, presentation consolidation and readiness per market meeting. Work with WPP Market Coordinators to ensure all action items and assignments are tracked and delivered upon. Ensure assignments and minutes from all meetings are provided to the wider audience. 2. Lead Enrichment – and Data Integration Deliver objective for uplift in lead to sales conversion, by leading delivery of enriched lead information in LEAP to Sales Execs in a format that they can easily understand and action. Work with the Biddable & Online Retail Marketing manager to develop and deliver a clear roadmap of data enrichment sources beyond existing MVP (Minimal Viable Product) (incl. website browsing history, Apps and Campaign history) allowable under GDPR (work with OGC (Office of General Counsel – legal department) to agree extent of enrichment capability and parameters) and work with Lead Management team to deliver to agreed timings. Develop report-out on project implementation value using, where possible, existing reporting infrastructure e.g. sales conversion uplift directly attributable to this lead enrichment implementation vs. non-enriched leads. 3. Cookie-less Marketing Programme Work with markets to implement updates to Cookie Policies driven by regulatory and digital partner (e.g. Facebook) changes in line with required delivery timing. Deliver mitigation roadmap to off-set the defined financial impact of losing cookie-based marketing in order to maintain performance across digital channels. Work with WPP Group, OGC, CRM and other stakeholders to develop mitigation actions including: Work with WPP on the Future of Identity: the consent framework and data mapping. A non-cookie approach for Display ads e.g. Contextual/ targeted advertising. Driving the consent-based opt-in rate to Digital Identifiers and Profiling. Maximising the matching rate of first-party data (offline) to an authenticated user journey (online) through synchronisation efforts. Ensure we are linked into client global teams and approach, and that client is complying with the regulatory environment, and has foresight into privacy and digital identification trends. 4. Audiences Programme Deliver ‘Cost Per Purchase Intent’ efficiencies objective using Digital Experience (DX) Mindsets and other platforms (e.g. HiP (Human Insights Platform) and MDP (Modern Data Platform)) for audience targeting in-line with agreed roadmap timings, working with WPP A&I team and client Comms. Support achievement of conversion objectives for retargeting actions in biddable channels. Support the Biddable & Online Retail Marketing Manager and WPP Technology team to deliver the optimal solutions for matching of online anonymous ID’s to unique ID’s to deliver use cases e.g. for targeting and retargeting of key business actions from the GUX platforms. 5. Strategic Data & eCommerce Analytics * Deliver value supporting achievement of Demand Creation objectives (e.g. accurate reporting, analytics, predictive behaviours to increase MROI) by: Supporting enhancements to MDP (Modern Data Platform) * Supporting first-party data and third-party data sources to be utilised, within the Ad-tech environments, as required and ensuring all data compliance and regulatory processes are met and adhered to. * Support the Biddable & Online Retail Marketing Manager in development and integration with Global eCommerce Analytics, both for site-based Adobe Analytics, and metrics which will be driven by SAP transactional data. * Support by feeding in European requirements into the development of Real-time Dashboards. 6. Attribution Programme Support the Biddable & Online Retail Marketing Manager, and the Analytics & Data Science team at WPP, to deliver a ‘Four-step programme for Attribution’ from ‘single-touch’ click level to ‘multi-touch’ click and impression-based models, for GUX (Global User Experience) channels in line with agreed project timings and deliverables. Report out completed attribution results to key stakeholders and agree requirements and best reporting output for markets to use. Work with NSCs to interpret and use Attribution Reports in order to make media allocation and activity decisions, which drive achievement of Marketing Returning-On-Investment (MROI) objectives. 7. Demand Creation Team Support Support Demand Creation team tasks e.g. Modular Control Review Programme (MCRP), Annual File Review (AFR), Departmental Records Inventory Matrix (DRIM), Newsletter input, SharePoint maintenance, chasing for estimates and raising of Purchase Notifications (PN’s) and forecast management. Support additional ad-hoc/ special projects / tasks as required. Qualifications and Skills * Experience and knowledge in Marketing must-have, Media exposure a bonus, within Automotive industry preferred. * Recent experience and knowledge of digital marketing practice. * Good communication skills (incl. writing management papers and presentations). * Strong Stakeholder management skills. * Strong team player, with proven ability to work cross-functionally. * Self-starter, with record of taking responsibility for key assignments and delivering results. * Ability to passionately articulate the voice of the customer, a passion for customer experience. * Analytical Mind-Set with an understanding of and ability to interpret and manipulate metrics, analytics and data to produce actionable insights. * Experience working with IT experts, ideally within the PDO (Product Driven Organisation) model and agile working methods. Knowledge of IT architecture, systems and processes and ability to develop detailed customer, IT and data driven process flows. Awareness of GDPR. * Project management experience desirable, with an ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to deliver tasks. * Competent user of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Stakeholders * All levels of the MS&S team within Europe, NSCs, Agencies –WPP/ GTB/ Wunderman/ MindShare, VMLY&R, Ford IT, Vendors. Additional Information Responsibilities may change over time as this area is fast changing and projects change. Travel will be necessary with regular working in GTB office London (will be running a hybrid working model, post-COVID, so working from the Basildon Campus in Essex will be required mixed with working from home).
