Our client, a global organisation, operating a state of the art manufacturing facility is looking to recruit a Logistics Senior to manage a team of customer planners. Ensuring customer needs are aligned to production plans for a high mix, high volume manufacturing facility. Responsible for a team of customer planners. The main responsibilities of the Logisitcs Senior are: Manage a team of Customer planners (8+) Ensure Customer planners support Customer needs efficiently and are aligned to production plans Liaise directly with internal customer accounts teams to ensure clearly aligned communications with customers Forecast overall salesDevelop team member abilities and streamline the process Experience in a similar role and environment Knowledge of MRP Systems (preferably SAP) Ability to understand manufacturing/ inventory systems and processes Excellent communication skills Able to work as part of a team and good communication skills This is a permanent role, based in Peterlee
