EllisKnight are partnered with a Global Automotive Business who are growing and are now looking to hire a fluent German speaker for an exciting 12 month contract role. The position will be within their technical customer support area. We are open to any background as long as you have a passion for IT/Technology or Technical support, are IT literate, Customer focused and willing to work hard and learn fast! This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Technology / IT minded, experienced or educated individual to fast-track their technical knowledge and career in a fast paced and customer focused global business. We will consider any of the following backgrounds: Fluent German Speaker/Writer (Essential) Graduates or College/ School leavers who have complete some further study/certifications or work experience in a technology /Technical or IT related subject/field. A career changer/returner/ex-military who has completed some further training within technology and now wants an opportunity to develop their career A technical support officer who is looking for that next opportunity to move into a progressive and supportive business. A parent returner who has some technology training/experience or education. This company will support and progress you with further training and exposure to some of the worlds most advanced digital technology / interactive technology solutions. They will provide further study opportunities but also open up further career development internally (2 years+) for the right candidates once they have proved themselves within this role. This role will be a customer facing role where most of the work will be over phone and email with some video meetings. Duties/Requirements: Providing 1st line technical support; answering support queries (In German & English) via phone & email Fluent in German and English. (Anyone with Fluent French language skills also would be a bonus) Deliver technical support to customers to identify and resolve problems with laptops/pc hardware/software and associated equipment. Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to good service management principles. Investigating problems in systems and services. Allocating more complex calls to relevant 2nd level support personnel and pro-actively follows up status of open calls
