Coster Working Hours: 08:30 - 16:30 Salary: £24,000 Summary The post-holder will be responsible for the day to day costing of the Eurocentral branch and Service Flow. They will need to work closely with all branch staff, customers, credit control and internal departments. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities * Work in accordance to the Service Delivery Green Flow * Invoicing and controlling branch work in progress (anything that is not invoiced in hours) * Check system to ensure campaigns are completed and costed correctly * Work within credit control policy and procedures * Carry out Warranty, Retail, Repair & Maintenance and Internal costing as per company standards * Supply fully priced estimates of repairs required and ensure work is authorised where required * Audit job cards, associated service documentation and customer defect procedures for accuracy and adherence to internal and external procedures * Assist in achieving branch KPI’s in relation to efficiency, WIP targets, recovery rates and invoice lead time * Achieve sold hours in line with current produced hours * Resolve and assist in invoice queries as and when necessary * Assist with other administration duties as required * Ensure all customer complaints are escalated to the Manager ensuring the quickest resolution possible * Maintain Dealer Operating Standards within department to a high standard * Proactively work to improve CSI and mystery shop results * Comply with company safety, health and environmental policies at all times * Monitoring warranty status reports * Contacting customers and obtaining order numbers as required Candidate Requirements Education and/or Experience * GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (desirable) * Technical awareness of motor vehicles Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and manage relationships * Computer literate * Negotiation skills * Good interpersonal skills – an ability to work as a team player within a busy department * Ability to work under pressure and without supervision * Effective communication skills * Attention to detail Experience / skills regarded as ideal but not essential * Knowledge of the automotive industry * Knowledge of ADP Autoline 8.35 IT system Working for Scania is not just about the job.
