Each year we invite Students to complete their placement year with us in our Eco HQ in Surrey. We nickname these students our ‘Future Talent’ because they often go on to do great things, either here at TGB, on our Graduate scheme or in the wider working world.

As the CSR student, you will get first-hand experience in project management and take the lead with adhoc projects in the team. Projects you will work with include ownership of the Toyota fund for a better tomorrow project, including management of a £200k budget (exciting, not scary!) as well as Toyota’s global Dream Car competition. You will be responsible for coordinating communications with our close partnered charities, processing charitable requests for support or donation. You will also coordinate internal environmental task force meetings, seeking best practice to suggest improvements. Personal specification

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to be:

• You’ll need to be completing a 4 year undergraduate degree (it doesn’t have to be environment or CSR specific) which includes a year in industry.
• It would be great to see that you have experience of volunteering or supporting charitable projects
• Confident in communicating with a wide demographic of customers
• Positive outlook and problem solving mind-set.
• Really team focussed and able to build relationships
• Passionate about customers & obsessed with delivering a service the way that customers LOVE!
• Residing in the UK and either living within or willing to relocate to within a commutable distance of our ECO HQ

Skills required

Qualifications and experience you’ll need:

Essential

• Studying at undergraduate degree level - Specific CSR and/or Environmental education/qualification is not necessary to apply to this position

Desirable

• Previous experience of volunteering / charitable project support is an advantage
