Commercial Support Graduate Purpose: This Graduate role is responsible for supporting the Sales Planning & Reporting Manager to understand and interpret market trends including measuring sales performance to guide commercial actions and decisions, and maintaining the suite of Business Intelligence reports. It is also responsible for the coordination and assistance in developing the Production and Sales Plan for parts of the business as well as providing sales planning intelligence and insight to the wider business. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Effectively report and issue a suite of management reports and dashboards highlighting key sales trends and operational issues. * Complete analytical work relating to the regular and ad-hoc reports generated or requested by Management. * Provide sales operations and back up enabling the department to meet all internal/external reporting project and quarterly activities. * Work closely with the sales operations team to provide solutions to operational activities and maintain sales operations reports. * Problem solve and provide commercial support for the field and brand team when required. * To be fully familiar with all reporting and monitoring systems. * Assisting with development and implementation of ad hoc projects/systems/processes, such as online forecasting system, registration and stock management systems. * Analyse and present the data to senior management as and when required. * Assisting in completion of presentations and conferences, developing ways to show data in a clear and concise format. * Assisting the operations team as required & sales support administration. * Liaison with internal and external stakeholders. * Developing a working knowledge of the Production and Sales Planning process, assisting with the creation and analysis of the data required to develop the monthly planning cycle. * To work cross functionally to share best sales planning and data analysis practice with multiple departments, forming close relationships with the brand sales and marketing teams as well as IT, logistics and finance departments. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: * Interest in progression in Automotive Industry. * Problem solver; able to work under own initiative. * Ability to operate under pressure / tight deadlines. * High level of attention to detail. * Degree or similar standard education with proven analytical background. * Analytical ability in order to understand trends within the markets and highlight key finds to management. * Numerate / PC literate with Microsoft Excel essential, Google Sheets/Gsuite and Tableau an advantage. Training will be provided for other software. * Interest or ability to learn about Business Intelligence and database applications. * The ability to be a coherent and confident communicator to maintain good relationships with all stakeholders both internal and external
