As a Team Leader, you'll oversee cleaning standards for aircraft, ensuring quality and timeliness. Your duties include operating high-lift trucks, supporting the Cabin Appearance Manager, and ensuring compliance with relevant processes. Experience in aircraft cleaning is essential. You'll be responsible for leading the team and meeting service level agreements. Role and Responsibilities Team Management: Lead and motivate cleaning teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards and security checks. Operational Duties: Safely operate aircraft steps and position them as needed. Communication: Liaise with movement control for daily work details, ensure paperwork is compliant with GDPR, and convey briefings to your team. Task Allocation: Plan, allocate, and monitor tasks, ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned using appropriate equipment. Documentation: Complete and submit security check sheets, secure clean, and vehicle defect documentation accurately. Collaboration: Work with the allocations team to manage aircraft arrival times, delays, and turnaround times. Staff Management: Manage, coach, and mentor aircraft cleaners, handling absence management and ensuring compliance with company policies. Discipline: Maintain staff discipline and ensure adherence to company and regulatory requirements. Follow company policies and procedures. Report any deficiencies in systems or equipment that could affect service delivery or safety. Use work equipment and PPE properly and report any issues or training needs to your Line Manager. Pay and Shift pattern: £28,781.31 Annually or £13.80 PH Average 40 hrs per week Person Specification: Experience in driving, preferably in passenger transport. Supervisory or management experience. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of health and safety legislation. Physically fit for manual tasks. Attention to detail and vehicle maintenance knowledge. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexible with shift patterns. Valid driving license and computer literacy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
