SF Recruitment are working with a leading, global manufacturing business based in Warwickshire to recruit for a Buyer. This role would suit a buyer who has a proven skillset in; supplier resourcing/selection, negotiations & strategic procurement. An end-to-end role whereby you will be responsible for all procurement aspects within your assigned commodities. Flexible, hybrid working environment. Responsibilities: -Manage end to end procurement activities within assigned commodities/direct spend areas. -Manage multiple resource / capacity projects with suppliers -Identify and drive cost reduction activities. -Responsible for contractual negotiations for your suppliers -Develop and lead global supplier relationships to deliver tangible mutual benefits -Build strong relationships internally and across the supplier base, be responsible and accountable to make and influence key decisions. Skillset Requirements: -Understanding of key cost drivers within a supply base -Confident negotiator with a proven record of taking cost out -Experience managing multiple projects and co-ordinating cross functional teams to ensure on-time delivery -Experience working with a global supply base -Experience managing high level supplier relationships
