Bodyshop Paint Sprayer / Bodyshop Paint Technician MG52051 Competitive Salary + Productive Bonus and QC Bonus  Middlesex Bodyshop Paint Sprayer/Bodyshop Pain Technician required for our client a State of the Art Bodyshop in Middlesex. Our client requires an experienced Bodyshop Paint Sprayer /Bodyshop Paint Technician  with proven career history and will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in paint spraying   to work within their busy body shop. You will prepare vehicles to be re-sprayed, mix paints to ensure a perfect match and re-spray vehicles, checking on completion ensuring there are no defects. To ensure customer satisfaction in the repair and painting of motor vehicles of all types. To carry out such work in a safe and economical manner and to employ your experience, knowledge and skills required to restore vehicles to a high standard.    Bodyshop Paint Sprayer / Bodyshop Paint Technician Experience Required - To undertake training courses as required. - To have experience in the body/ paint repair of motor vehicles. - Relevant trade qualification – NVQ qualification attained in the last 3 years or an industry recognised accreditation scheme attained in the last 5 years. - Capability to flat and polish to high standard. - Competency in colour matching. Bodyshop Paint Sprayer / Bodyshop Paint Technician Main Duties - To observe, recognise and report on vehicle structure and paintwork. - To interpret and implement technical service instruction data. - To indent for replacement parts and record usage. - Paint repair – to be able to accurately use paint mixing schemes, computerised scales, spray booths and drying lamps. - To keep work areas clean and tidy. - To ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on job card. - Application of topcoat to manufacturer’s specification. - Preparation of repaired areas as directed by work order, in readiness for application of topcoat. Bodyshop Paint Sprayer / Bodyshop Paint Technician Objectives and Key Tasks Improved profitability: - To attain manufacturers and/ or estimated repair/ paint times. - Report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles. - To take care of equipment, special tools, personal tools and report any faulty equipment to line manager. - To accurately report all components, materials and consumables used. - To actively make sure the repair method is in the job pack and is fully understood (e-scribe or manufactures). - It is also your duty to sign off QC sheet at your relevant repair stage. Customer satisfaction: - To protect customers vehicles with covers and dust sheets etc. - To safeguard the customers’ vehicle and contents whilst being repaired. - To ensure all work carried out meets acceptable safety and quality standards. Cost Control: - To ensure that all hours and material usage are accurately recorded. - To minimise wastage of all materials and consumables. - To ensure all work has been carried out as detailed. Our client has a constant flow of vehicles going through the workshop so the ideal candidate for the job must be able to work to targets with the large amount of work coming through the body shop but most important be able to produce a high quality of workmanship. Water based spraying skills are essential coupled with recent experience.
