Job Title: Area Sales Manager Salary: £35,000 Basic Salary + Commission & Bonus's (OTE’s £ 40,000+) Location: Home Based (Covering Edinburgh) Hours: 40 Hours Per Week About your new company: A successful provider of Plant and Material Handling equipment based across the UK is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager which will cover off an established sales area in the Edinburgh area. Reporting directly to the Group Sales Manager, the successful Area Sales Manager will be responsible for the sale of construction Plant machinery and Forklift trucks, both new and used in the Northwest region and will be primarily new business however will also deal with Business Development. About your new Area Sales Manager role: Identify and Maximise Sales of the company’s equipment Develop relationships with new clients in your territory whilst maintaining strong relationships with existing client accounts Achieve planned sales targets & goals. Developing quotes and proposals for clients. Finding and developing new markets and improving sales. Requirements for the Area Sales Manager role include: Product knowledge within a construction plant/Access/Material Handling environment & previous sales experience Previous experience covering a sales patch and dealing with business development.
