Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to expand our team through the recruitment of an OES Apprentice Trainer Heavy Vehicle based in Basildon.

As our ideal candidate, you will possess excellent technical skills and a good understanding of a wide range of learning techniques. You will also require the following skills and experience:

  • Expert in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair or similar
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of MS applications
  • Customer and Apprentice focused
  • Expert communicator

 What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as an OES Apprentice Trainer Heavy Vehicle, you will be responsible for delivering technical apprentice training and qualifications. Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Encouraging a supportive learning environment and engaging delivery utilising a variety of teaching and training methods
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with the project team, client, dealer network and apprentices
  • Undertaking dealer network visits to support both the apprentice and dealer representatives
  • Develop personal technical / training skills and work towards necessary qualifications
  • Supporting the development of all course material and lesson planning
  • Managing apprentice progression successfully to enable achievement of a 3 year apprenticeship qualification
