We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician to join one of of our successful independent workshops.

The vacancy

Working in a busy workshop environment where you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing motor vehicles to a very high standard.  Full training will be given both in the workshop as well as with a leading national training provider.

A keen interest and enthusiasm for automotive vehicles is essential as well as honesty and a willingness to learn. A positive attitude and work ethic, with high level of professionalism. To be able to work effectively as part of a team and having the capability to follow instructions and work independently.

Applicants are desired to have, or predicted to obtain, GCSE Grade A*-C/9-4 in Maths, English and IT.

Training information

You will attend classroom and workshop training in Milton Keynes four times a year during a three year period.  You will be required to study for and be successful in the following qualifications − IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician,  IMI Level 3 Award in Automotive Refrigeration Handling and IMI Level 2 Award in Electric / Hybrid Vehicles.
