Role Summary: Join our dynamic team as an Airworthiness Engineer and play a crucial role in maintaining the airworthiness of our fleet. As part of the Technical Services Department, you will provide essential support to the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) Manager in controlling airworthiness requirements, investigating occurrence reports, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations. Focus on airframe and structural repairs and be an integral part of our commitment to safety and excellence. Responsibilities: Periodically review Aircraft Maintenance Programmes against maintained aircraft, implementing changes and ensuring effective control in the computerized maintenance system. Conduct reviews of incoming and transferring aircraft, ensuring compliance with airworthiness requirements and defining bridging requirements as needed. Manage Airworthiness Directives, non-mandatory Service Bulletins, and assess their impact on the fleet. Generate compliance reports to support Airworthiness Reviews (ARCs). Provide expert technical support for repairs, modifications, and configuration changes. Manage the aircraft AMP and produce reports demonstrating compliance with resulting changes. Author maintenance instructions (work cards) to meet airworthiness requirements and support the maintenance planning department. Liaise with aircraft manufacturers and vendors to gain and implement approved repair schemes, assist with defect diagnosis, and manage the Part Number and Interchangeability database. Collaborate with colleagues across Europe on group-level projects for aircraft repositioning. Manage subcontractor organizations for airworthiness control of subcontracted activities. Investigate Occurrence Reports in support of the Safety Management System. Undertake other airworthiness activities and tasks as directed by the Technical Manager or CAMO Manager.Academic/Educational Requirements: Educated to Degree Level, B1 License, or equivalent.Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 7 years of Aviation Engineering experience. Comprehensive understanding of Part M/CAMO and Part 145, and UK National Requirements. Effective interpersonal and IT skills. Confident communication skills in English (both written & verbal). Ability to make informed judgments in a fast-changing environment. Proven problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.Desirable Skills/Experience: Previous experience in a Continuing Airworthiness Management organization. Experience as a B1 licensed engineer with sheet metal or composite repair expertise. Previous liaison with FAA DER or UK/EASA Part 21 for approved aircraft repair data. Experience with B737CL/NG, ATR 42/72, or similar Boeing products.
